Christians usually take church attendance for granted. That is, until Covid struck in March of 2020. But the pandemic merely exposed some of our unclear thinking. After all, why should we go to church? With all the pressures on us as parents, why make church a priority?
In this today’s podcast we are going to talk to my friend Collin Hansen about the new book he coauthored: Rediscover Church: Why the Body of Christ is Essential. That’s exactly what we will talk about. Why is being part of a church essential to our lives and essential to the discipleship of our children? I think you are going to enjoy this conversation.
Collin serves as Vice President for content and Editor in Chief for The Gospel Coalition. He is best known for his writing on The New Calvinism, and he hosts the Gospelbound podcast.
He grew up in South Dakota and earned his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Prior to working for The Gospel Coalition, Hansen was an associate editor for Christianity Today. He lives with his wife and children in Birmingham, Alabama (and is an Alabama Crimson Tide fan!), where he serves on the advisory board of Beeson Divinity School an as an elder at Redeemer Community Church.
And beyond that, he is a friend.
Join me in my conversation with Collin about why the body of Christ is essential.
