About The Disciple-Making Parent

The Disciple-Making Parent is a small nonprofit organization committed to equipping parents and churches to pass the gospel to their children. We do this through books, video courses, speaking events, and coaching. The ministry is an outgrowth of the writing of Chap Bettis.

Job Description:

The Disciple-Making Parent is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to support and take the initiative to enhance the organization’s operations, with a focus on marketing, speaking logistics, partnerships, fundraising, and resource development.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing and Outreach

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase the organization’s visibility and engagement with parents and churches.
  • Oversee the organization’s website, social media, podcasts and email newsletters.
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of marketing efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

Speaking Logistics

  • Coordinate speaking engagements and virtual events, including webinars, conferences, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with organizations to ensure successful event planning, promotion, and execution.
  • Manage logistics for virtual presentations, including technical support and platform coordination.

Partnership Development

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners.

Resource Development and Support

  • Assist in the development of new resources including overseeing new videos or written resources.

Fundraising Support

  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns.
  • Support in donor engagement and stewardship efforts.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Passion for the mission and values of The Disciple-Making Parent.
  • Theological training is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in nonprofit operations, marketing, or related roles is preferred but not required.
