Are the Stats Wrong?

I really, really want to believe that 7 out of 10 young people walking away from actively following the Lord is an inflated statistic. But then I hear stories like the one from a young man, new to our church, whose grandfather and grandmother raised him. They were godly people, pillars in their believing evangelical church, and for whom this young man had tremendous respect. But all four of their children, all four, (this young man’s mother, her two sisters and her brother) walked away from the Lord and are into drugs and alcohol to this day.

I really hope the stats are wrong. But I really believe they are right.
